Ok...here's another Golden Oldie from 1973
This one is called:
Dinner at the Negril Yacht Club (Negril, Jamaica)
Blueness,
splashed with Turquoise,
the sky blisters
with Gold Ray.
Palm Trees
iridescent,
waves begin to stir the Bay,
And,
that Star,
The Sun,
says:
"It's time to end this day."
Now,
The Sun's through peeking,
it's stare is
full and bright;
and,
it seems that
the whole Hemisphere
is enhanced,
with Red-gold Light.
Now,
here is that
heavenly ball of light,
making
it's descending flight.
The sky is Primrose,
Scarlet
(bright and proud),
as,
it falls,
Bright-Orange....
into
the clouds.......

They are beautiful and I only dream about mine,
saying such beautiful things.
Mine spoke of a past pressing on the future.
But now the past and the future have come together,
and I'm not sure I will have new poems.
I have not written about such beauty though I wish too!
Maybe someday, my poems will be full of beauty too.
(((hug)))
God bless you.
